The policy belongs to the creator
Each event sets its own refund policy, and it is shown on the event page before you buy. Some refund freely up to a cut-off, some not at all. Read it before paying, because it is the term you are agreeing to.
Requesting a refund
- Open the order in your account.
- Request a refund, and say why — a specific reason helps.
- The request goes to the creator, who approves or declines it.
- If approved, the money returns to the payment method you used.
How long the money takes to appear is up to your bank or card issuer, not us. A few working days is normal.
If the event is cancelled
Ticket holders are entitled to the ticket price back. You will be told through the platform, and you do not need to chase the creator individually.
If the event moves
A postponed event usually carries your ticket over to the new date automatically, unless the creator's policy says otherwise. If the new date does not work for you, ask — a material change of date is exactly when a creator is most likely to say yes.
Fees on a refund
Payment processors generally keep their processing fee on a refunded transaction, so that portion may not come back. Anything Tiqstar charged is returned with the ticket price.
