How do I buy tickets on Tiqstar?
Open the event, pick your ticket type and quantity, and pay. Your seats are held while you check out, and the ticket is issued the moment payment is confirmed — into your wallet and to your email.
What payment methods are supported?
It depends on your currency. Naira payments run through Paystack — card, bank transfer, USSD. Pounds, dollars, euros, Canadian dollars and dirhams run through Stripe. Cedis, shillings, rand and the other African currencies run through Flutterwave, including mobile money. Card details go to the processor, never to Tiqstar.
Can I get a refund?
The refund policy is set by the creator and shown on the event page before you buy. Request a refund from your order and it goes to them to approve. If an event is cancelled outright, ticket holders are entitled to the ticket price back.
How do I create an event on Tiqstar?
Apply for a creator account, and once you are approved the event builder walks you through the page, ticket tiers, dates and publishing. Applications are reviewed by our team — it is a marketplace people are spending money in, so we check who is selling.
