Nollywood Classics Weekend
About this event
Two days of Nollywood on a proper cinema screen. The weekend runs six restored features across three screens — the films that defined the industry through the nineties and two-thousands, most of which a generation has only ever watched compressed on a phone.
Each screening is introduced from the front of house, and the Saturday evening slot is followed by a filmmaker Q&A with members of the original crews. Saturday afternoon is programmed for families, with the two gentlest titles in the run and an interval long enough to get everyone fed.
Single tickets admit you to one screening of your choice; the weekend pass covers all six and does not need to be booked screen by screen.
