Dwin, The Stoic launches the Master of Ballads Tour with a cinematic opening night of raw vocals, storytelling, and emotionally charged live arrangements.

The Master of Ballads Tour begins where the city's energy peaks. On December 5th, Dwin, The Stoic transforms The New Afrika Shrine into an intimate theatre of song and narrative, performing the entire album front-to-back with a live band and string quartet.
This opening night is more than the start of a tour — it is the moment the stories behind the music come alive. Expect sharper lyrics, renewed arrangements, and the kind of silence-filled tension that turns a room into part of the narrative. Dwin guides the audience through emotional landscapes of heartbreak, resilience, longing, and redemption.
The staging is deliberately stripped back: a single spotlight, a stool, and an audience seated on the floor in concentric circles. Between songs, Dwin shares the writing origins — late-night Lagos bus rides, a grandmother's proverbs, a year spent in silence. Free admission ensures the art reaches everyone, but capacity is strictly limited.
Doors open at 7 PM. No phones policy during the performance.
