ArtX Lagos
About this event
ArtX Lagos is West Africa's premier international art fair, now in its eighth year, designed to showcase the most innovative contemporary art from the African continent and diaspora. Held at The Federal Palace Hotel on Victoria Island, the fair transforms the colonial-era venue into a vibrant gallery space.
The fair features:
- Exhibitions from 40+ galleries across Africa, Europe, and the Americas
- Works by both emerging and blue-chip artists spanning painting, sculpture, photography, and digital art
- "ArtX Live" — daily artist talks, panel discussions, and portfolio reviews
- Live art performances and site-specific installations in the hotel gardens
- Curated special projects commissioned specifically for this edition
- Young Collectors Programme with guided tours and mentorship
General admission is ₦3,000. VIP Preview (opening night): ₦50,000 — includes champagne reception, catalogue, and first-access buying rights.
ArtX has facilitated over ₦500M in art sales since inception and is credited with establishing Lagos as a serious destination on the global contemporary art circuit.
